The Manager (Level 1) is responsible for the day-to-day operation and administrative activities to ensure conformance to contract requirements. As the Manager your responsibilities will be to manage and lead project teams throughout project lifecycle by managing and controlling the project schedule, risks, and issues. Deliver projects/programs according to the PMO methodology and contribute in development of functional strategies. As a Project Manager your responsibilities will be to analyze and manage, in a proactive manner, both the financial and the operational performance of the assigned taskings. Manage and provide leadership to personnel assigned to the taskings, and be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel assigned to the contract. The Project Manager must also carryout supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and providing input to terminating employees.
Responsibilities
- Define and review project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals as stated in key agreements (e.g. Statement of Work (SOW), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)) in collaboration with senior management objectives
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Write and shape key deliverables for the client
- Develop weekly performance/overall contract health management presentations to leadership
Requirements
- Must have an active SECRET (or higher) Security Clearance.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) Experience.
- Experience with and understanding of how to develop and interpret RFPs (Request for Proposals), Basis of Estimates (BOE), Rough-Order-of-Magnitude (ROM), Statement of Work (SOW), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), task sheet development, contract language.
- 5 years of instructional design, eLearning, and project management experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-output environment.
- PMP designation is a plus.
- Experience leading end-to-end project life cycles of product design and development.
- Ability to communicate effectively and promptly at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deliverables, and competing priorities with a proven record of success.
- Ability to manage projects by reporting status, tracking delays, and making required adjustments.
- Capable of determining overall staffing requirements relating to projects. Conduct interviews, hires, and trains new employees for specific project assignments.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, MS Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel).

Education:
Master’s Degree (Required)preferably in the fields of Instructional Systems Design (ISD), business operations, or business management
